What is the PowerScript language?
 

PowerScript is the scripting engine of PathFinder Trader™. You can use it to build automated trading strategies and custom technical indicators. Technically speaking, PowerScript is the execution container for C# or VB.Net coded program and it's bundled with a large collection of classes to access the main software features and functionalities. Once you have compiled a strategy using the included editor, you can test them using the back-test component.

How quick is the order execution? Do you have any technical details about it?
 

The execution speed of your orders depends on several factors including your internet connection, physical location, computer performance, etc. Our average execution speed is pretty quick! PathFinder Trader™ features direct API connections from your computer to the execution server, thus eliminating any bridge or middleware. We keep a record averaging execution times of market orders for most products. Please visit this page for more information.

Which Time Zone is the platform set?
 

PathFinder Trader™ offers a dual Time Zone capability. You can choose either GMT or your Local Time (based on your computer time). To select the desired time zone go to Tools > General Options. Every component of the platform, including charts data, will be adjusted accordingly.

What is the ScalperBook?
 
The ScalperBook is a vertical representation of the depth of market and it's available for both Futures and Forex ECN. The numbers you see on the Bid column represent the amount of Buy Limit quantities for a given price level, likewise the numbers on the Ask column represent the amount of Sell Limit quantities. The central column is instead the price scale. You can place orders on the ScalperBook by activating the TradeMode button and then by placing your mouse on the Bid or Ask column at the desired price level. The ScalperBook by default will automatically select the appropriate type of order (Stop or Limit) depending on your price, instead to enter a Market order you can click on the Buy or Sell Market buttons. You can change the order defaults in the Options. To navigate the ScalperBook up and down to place orders away from the current view, you need to hold the Shift key and roll your mouse wheel up or down and then point and click at the desired price. When you release the Shift the price will center at the current bid/ask level.

For traders requiring additional data, the platform is compatible with Barcharts.com where you can subscribe to receive real time and historical data for most financial products including futures, forex, stocks and other using the Barchart Real time feed, while maintaining your execution through us. Does Pathfinder Trader™ offer one-click trading?
 

Yes, you can remove any order confirmation from the General Options windows (under the Tools menu) and checking the box beside Remove Order Confirmation. By disabling order confirmations you can trade by simply clicking the mouse button at the desired price level in the ScalperBook or charting (to reduce accidental orders, the charts require a double-click action).
